Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has become famous for taking revenge, said Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto at the Karsaz attack memorial.
“Tehreek-e-Insaf has become Tehreek-e-Inteqaam”, the Pakistan Peoples Party chairman said while speaking to the media and party workers on the 11th death anniversary of the Karsaz attack.
About the twin blasts that killed more than 160 Pakistan Peoples Party workers and injured many others, Bilawal Bhutto said the victims sacrificed their lives for the country and democracy.
However, he added, proper investigation should be carried out over terrorist attacks. According to Bilawal Bhutto, evidence collected from the crime scene then were wasted.
He was of the view that public should be kept updated on probe that authorities concerned carry out following such attacks.
Earlier in the day, Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani visited the graveyard in Azam Basti area where he offered prayers at the victims’ graves.
On the other hand, prayers were also offered while free food was distributed in Garhi Khuda Baksh, a village where Benazir Bhutto and other members of the Bhutto family rest in peace.
Issuing a statement, Pakistan Peoples Party Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said the martyrs of Karsaz attack are the shining starts of democracy, whose sacrifices would not go to waste.
